Circle Skirts

Circle skirts, skater skirts, whatever you choose to call them, they're darling. Paired with heels, ballet flats or booties, this skirt is sure to carry you from day to night. I love how Felicity Jones (above) paired her black circle skirt with heels and a leather jacket to toughen it up. With so many ways to wear it, this skirt will surely become a staple in your late summer/fall wardrobe.

On a recent trip back to San Francisco, I scored the perfect circle skirt at one of my favorite vintage shops on Haight Street, Held Over. I plan on wearing mine with a chambray or button up with flats or with a ankle boots for date night.

Summer Hairstyles: Braided Updos

Summertime. It's a love/hate situation for many of us. I love the lack of snow and longer days but sometimes wish the heat didn't have to come with it. With the temperatures reported to be in the 90's all through the week here in New York City, the idea of wearing my long hair down is not one I can manage. As most of the East Coast and the Mid West are deep in this oppressive heat with me, I thought now would be a great time to share some of my favorite, can't live without YouTube hair how-to's for the summer. As you can tell from the images above, my answer to the is heat typically a braid of sorts.

Click the links below for some great ideas to look chic while escaping the heat! I hope they inspire you as much as they have me.

So in typical fashion, I've rounded up some fantastic Etsy options. At these price points, you can stack your fingers to your heart's content with these tiny gems.
